Updated - January 3. We are in the home stretch.

GENERAL - There's a lot on so I can't spend too much time gabbing here. The show is now on Blu Ray and on the PS3 hard drive for luck. Been some problem with the video sound which seems fine on the individual tracks but was dull once assembled. Not sure what I did wrong but I've remastered it all. The production wants the signal as component video but the cable I bought for the PS3 doesn't work as advertised - will have to try with a different brand or go for a Blu Ray player with component outputs at the back. Pain in the arse.

Audio mixer arrived, it's decent not flash. Upgraded Live to version 8.1. Got the Launchpad figured out. It's not needed to use Max, you can just program Live to act as a big semi random analogue style sequencer by the trigger settings ... I'll explain later. Anyway got a lot of Reaktor patches set up for the stage which will trigger off cascades of events for each note played. So most of the time we'll be playing along little burst sequences and occasionally starting up Live to handle more elaborate passages. One reason of course is have the Launchpad make a very satisfying lightshow. Still trying to get the right sounds for some tracks, especially where the gear is no longer living.

OK I've got a workable version of the Sevs In Space video done with three flying machines included - a giant head with pinwheels, a helium filled flapping bird-foot and a big FU rocket to say goodbye to all the people that tied us down. Screen snaps below.

OK Finished Mambo Fist Miasma. This is the clip with spooky BVM floating through rooms. Some of the ghostliness has come out rather well. I could fix a few bits here and there but not now...

OK Although there are some rough bits here and there the video for Pilots Hate You is remade in HD!

REVISED Went back and fixed quite few things in the Choose Evil video. I knew that there were some major bald spots around the area where the kid gets pushed into the fire and went back and redid the camera angles. Much improved.

OK Reworked Dead Eyes Opened with much better kinetic text and subtle colouration. HAD TO CONVERT FROM YANKEE VISION. Mostly looks fine.

OK Have completed a rough cut of The Interpreter. It is based around a telescreen from 1984. Needs to have some more animated flags added.

OK Have completed a general improvement and clean up of Greater Reward. HAD TO CONVERT FROM YANKEE VISION. Mostly looks fine, some weirdness where the vectors cross..

REVISED Have completed a major reworking and re-render of Harold And Cindy Hospital. This evening I finally went back and finished off the music including the backing vocals and live elements. In doing so I have managed to get the lyrics around the wrong way so I'll have to do some re-editing. UPDATE - all fixed up now.

OK Have completed a rough cut of Funky Pervert From Des Moines.

OK Have completed Oblique Firefly Overlocker.

OK Pulled out the 2007 version of Hot With Fleas and HAD TO CONVERT FROM YANKEE VISION. Mostly looks fine, except for the titles. Might redo these.
